Training philosophy

Every human-dog relationship is unique. We understand and embrace this. Our trainers adapt their training style to each relationship accordingly. In a single class, you may see some dogs learning commands based on the treat and reward method, while others use the praise reward method or even another with the toy reward method. Different personalities respond better to different methods of learning. One universal theme that everyone and every dog learns best through is fun.

Our dogs are part of our family. Nobody wants to leave their children at home for fear of bad behaviour when going out for a meal or a cup of coffee with friends and family. Nor should you have to leave your fur children at home for the same reason.

Training Methods

You won’t only see us marching up and down a training field military-style with our dogs in tow having commands barked at them for an hour and then we all go home very happy because our dogs know how to sit, heel, stay, etc on a training field. We take a unique approach to training by not only training on the training field but also in social environments. Many “trained” dogs behave brilliantly on the training field but when you go for a walk around the neighbourhood or go to a social environment such as a restaurant or coffee shop the “trained” dog is an absolute menace.  What we achieve through our training is that your dog will be able to accompany you anywhere, anytime and be a well-behaved and calm dog in all situations.
